Changing my PIN

The PIN is used to protect your SIM from unauthorised use. You can change your PIN to a PIN of your own choice making it easier to remember. Remember, you need to turn on use of PIN.

Turn on your router
  • Tap and hold On/Off.

Establish connection to Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • Do the following in Mac OS X:
  • Click the Wi-Fi icon.
  • Click the name of your Wi-Fi Hotspot.
  • You can see the name and password for your Wi-Fi hotspot under the battery.
  • Key in the password for your Wi-Fi Hotspot and click Join.
  • A connection to your Wi-Fi Hotspot is established.

Establish a connection to the router web interface
  • Open a browser.
  • Key in in the address bar and tap Enter.
  • Highlight the field next to "Password" and key in admin
  • Click Login.
  • If you're asked to key in your PIN:
  • Highlight the field next to "PIN" and key in your PIN (default is 1234).
  • Click Apply.

Find "PIN Management"
  • Click Settings.
  • Click Advanced.
  • Click PIN Management.

Change PIN
  • Click the drop down list next to "Action" and highlight Modify.
  • Highlight the field next to "PIN" and key in your current PIN.
  • Highlight the field next to "New PIN" and key in a new PIN.
  • Highlight the field next to "Confirm New PIN" and key in the new PIN again.
  • Click Apply.

  • Click Logout.
  • Click OK to confirm.
