Want to change the name for your Wi-Fi Hotspot? Follow these easy instructions.


Turn on your router
  • Tap and hold On/Off.

Establish connection to Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • Do the following in Mac OS X:
  • Click the Wi-Fi icon.
  • Click the name of your Wi-Fi Hotspot.
  • You can see the name and password for your Wi-Fi hotspot under the battery.
  • Key in the password for your Wi-Fi Hotspot and click OK.
  • A connection to your Wi-Fi Hotspot is established.

Establish a connection to the router web interface
  • Open a browser.
  • Key in 192.168.0.1 in the address bar and tap Enter.
  • Highlight the field next to "Password" and key in admin
  • Click Login.
  • If you're asked to key in your PIN:
  • Highlight the field next to "PIN" and key in your PIN (default is 1234).
  • Click Apply.

Find "Basic"
  • Click Settings.
  • Click Wi-Fi Settings.
  • Click Basic.

Enter Wi-Fi Hotspot name
  • Highlight the field next to "Network Name(SSID)" and key in the required name for your Wi-Fi Hotspot.
  • Click Apply.

Exit
  • Click Logout.
  • Click OK to confirm.
