Making a video call with my mobile phone

Want to make a video call to another iPhone or to an iPad? It's called FaceTime. It's easy, but both devices need to be connected to a Wi-Fi network before you can make a video call.

Find "FaceTime"

Tap Settings.

Tap FaceTime.

Turn on FaceTime

Tap the indicator next to FaceTime to turn on the function.

Turn on FaceTime

Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.

Make a video call

Tap Utilities.

Make a video call

Tap Contacts.

Make a video call

Tap the required contact.

Make a video call

The contact details are displayed.

Tap FaceTime.

Tap the required number.

Select option

When you have an active video call, you can select the following options:

Mute or unmute the microphone, go to 4a.

Change camera, go to 4b.

4a - Mute or unmute the microphone

Tap the microphone icon.

Depending on the current setting, the microphone is muted or unmuted.

4b - Change camera

Tap the camera icon.

Depending on the current setting the interior or the exterior camera is turned on.

Step 13 of 14

End the call

Tap End to end the call.

Step 14 of 14

Exit

Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.

Swipe right for the next step

Tap anywhere to dismiss
