Want to use Google Maps on your mobile phone? It's easy, but remember you need to set up your mobile phone for internet, turn on GPS and install Google Maps before you can use this function.
Find "Google Maps"
Tap Google Maps.
Use Google Maps
The following steps describe how you:
Find a destination
Save a destination as a favourite
Plan a route to a destination
Start GPS navigation
Exit GPS navigation
You can also key in contacts from the address book.
Key in the required destination.
Results matching what you key in are displayed.
Tap the required destination.
Drag two fingers together or apart to zoom in or out.
Save favourite destination
Remember, you need a Google account. If you don't have a Google account, you can create one on www.google.com.
Tap the destination at the bottom of the display.
Tap Save until the destination has been saved as a favourite.
Plan route to destination
You can choose to avoid certain road types. Tap Route options. Follow the instructions on the display to select settings for route planning.
Tap the travel information.
Tap the required mode of transportation.
Tap the required route.
The navigation window with information about your route is displayed.
Tap the travel information at the bottom of the display repeatedly to see your estimated time of arrival and distance to destination.
Follow the verbal instructions or the instructions on the display to go to the selected destination.
Tap the end icon.
Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
Tap anywhere to dismiss
