Want to turn GPS on or off? Follow these easy instructions.
Find "Location Settings"
Tap the Menu key twice.
Tap Location Settings.
Turn satellite-based GPS on or off
If you turn on satellite-based GPS, your mobile phone can find your position using GPS. If you turn off the function, you can't use any of the GPS functions on your mobile phone.
Tap Location Services.
Tap Location On or Location Off.
Turn network-based GPS on or off
If you turn on network-based GPS, your mobile phone can find your approximate position using the network. This is useful if you don't have a GPS satellite fix.
Tap Location Data.
Tap Enabled, Disabled or Disabled While Roaming.
Turn A-GPS on or off
If you turn on A-GPS, your mobile phone will find your position faster while it tries to connect to the GPS satellites.
Tap Location Aiding.
Return to the home screen
Tap the Menu key.
Tap Disconnect to return to the home screen.
Tap anywhere to dismiss
