Want to set up your mobile phone for Exchange email? Follow these easy instructions.
Slide your finger downwards starting from the top edge of the display.
Create new email account
If an email account has been created already, do the following instead: Tap Add Account. Tap Advanced. Tap Microsoft® Exchange ActiveSync.
Tap Microsoft® Exchange ActiveSync.
Enter account name
Key in the required name.
Enter domain name
Tap the field below "Domain" and key in the domain name.
Tap Enter User name and key in the username for your email account.
Enter email address
Tap Enter Email Address and key in your email address.
Tap Enter Password and key in the password for your email account.
Enter server address
Tap Enter Server Address and key in the server address.
Enter port number
Tap the field below "Port" and key in the port number.
Turn SSL encryption on or off
Tap the indicator next to "Use SSL" to turn the function on or off.
Turn VPN on or off
Tap the indicator next to "Use VPN" to turn the function on or off.
Select synchronisation setting
Tap the indicator next to "Push" to turn automatic synchronisation on or off.
If you turn off automatic synchronisation:
Tap Sync Interval.
Tap the required interval or Manual.
Select period for synchronisation of email
Tap Sync Timeframe.
Tap the required period.
Select period for synchronisation of calendar
Tap Calendar sync timeframe.
Select data types for synchronisation
Tap the indicator next to the following data types to turn synchronisation of each data type on or off.
Select settings for download of messages
Tap Roaming Data Control.
Tap the required setting.
Tap Mobile Data Control.
Tap Wi-Fi Data Control.
Return to the home screen
Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom edge of the display to return to the home screen.
Tap anywhere to dismiss
