Choosing GPS settings on my mobile phone

Find "Location Settings"

Tap the Menu key twice.

Tap Options.

Tap Device.

Tap Location Settings.

Select setting

Tap one of the following options:

Location Services, go to 2a.

Location Aiding, go to 2b.

Location Data, go to 2c.

2a - "Location Services"

If you turn on the function, your mobile phone can find your position using GPS. If you turn off the function, you can't use any of the GPS functions on your mobile phone.

Tap Location On or Location Off.

Step 9 of 14

2b - "Location Aiding"

If you turn on the function, your mobile phone can find your approximate position using the network. This is useful if you don't have a GPS satellite fix.

Tap Enabled, Disabled or Disabled While Roaming.

2c - "Location Data"

If you turn on this function, you allow the GPS service provider to save information about your GPS position to improve the service.

Tap Enabled, Disabled or Disabled While Roaming.

Save and exit

Tap the Menu key.

Tap Save.

Save and exit

Tap Disconnect.

Save and exit

Tap the Return key to return to standby mode.
