Set up your mobile phone for MMS

An MMS is a message which can contain pictures and other media files and can be sent to other mobile phones. You can send and receive MMS as soon as you've inserted your SIM. If this isn't the case, you can set up your mobile phone for MMS manually.

Find "Access Point Name"

Tap Settings.

Tap Dual SIM & Cellular.

Find "Access Point Name"

Tap the required SIM.

Find "Access Point Name"

Tap Access Point Name.

Create new data connection

Tap the new data connection icon.

Enter data connection name

Tap the field next to "Name" and key in Singtel MMS.

Enter APN

If you're on a pay monthly rate plan, tap the field next to "APN" and key in e-ideas.

Enter APN

If you're on a pay as you go rate plan, tap the field next to "APN" and key in hicard.

Enter username

Tap the field next to "Username" and key in 65ideas.

Enter password

Tap the field next to "Password" and key in 65ideas.

Enter MMS server

Tap the field next to "MMSC" and key in http://mms.singtel.com:10021/mmsc.

Enter IP address

Tap the field next to "MMS Proxy" and key in 165.21.42.84.

Enter port number

Tap the field next to "MMS Port" and key in 8080.

Step 14 of 20

Enter country code

Tap the field next to "MCC" and key in 525.

Enter network code

Tap the field next to "MNC" and key in 01.

Step 16 of 20

Select authentication type

Tap Authentication Type.

Select authentication type

Tap PAP.

Step 18 of 20

Select APN type

Tap the field next to "APN Type" and key in mms.

Save data connection

Tap Save.

Return to the home screen

Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
